This is a truly amazing property and staying there was an unforgettable experience. It is right on the beach with outstanding ocean views from multiple rooms - kitchen, upstairs living room, downstairs living room, and master bedroom. Even on weekends with heavy activity at the beach, the home remains quiet and peaceful. You don't hear any outdoor noise at all. As far as the location, you couldn't ask for any better as it's right at the vehicle entrance to the Oceano dunes!

Our family had an amazing stay! The house was the perfect location, plenty of space for all of us and thoughtful touches that made our stay better than expected. Plus, nothing can beat that morning view!

The home was perfect for our family beach vacation! The kids loved playing in the sand just right out the back door. Ocean views were beautiful from each level of the home!

I have stayed in the area many times, this place was the best! I live in the Bay Area and my sister in San Diego, so we meet halfway. This house and location couldn’t have been better for her family with young children. A small walk and you’re in your own screensaver as described , but also easy for the children’s restroom breaks which came often. All the doggie supplies were awesome as well. Every time my anyone asked if they might have X, we looked around and there it was. These owners have simply thought of everything. That was so appreciated really! Thank you to the owner for this.
Just standing on the deck for your morning coffee is worth the price of admission for every adult. The best! I’m certain we won’t have to look around for different house next time. Enjoy!

This is the best place to stay in Pismo. Quite enough but you feel like you’re in the action. My wife’s family has been coming to Pismo for 50+ years. They all had a blast. We will be coming back here for sure.

Excellent location, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the thoughtful touches for families, kids’ toys, books, and beach items, made our stay especially comfortable. Highly recommend!

The view from the house was even better than the photos. Stunning! We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and VRBO homes and this one was absolutely the best. Our family of 5 adults and 1 teenager had so much fun, both outside and in. Mauri always responded to our questions quickly. Thank you!

We had a great time at Strandcastle! We had 3 families staying here and we really appreciated the spacious common area, great ocean views and plentiful toys. Would absolutely stay again!

I rented this fabulous house for my family when they came to our area. I can’t say enough about the views and location. The house is filled with beach art, games, a kitchen I wish I had at my own home, beautiful living rooms and four well spaced out bedrooms. We experienced some rain which prevented us from using the rooftop balcony, but all agreed that we would have to return so we can have that experience as well. Mauri was wonderful to work with, always responsive to messaging. My family said, “What are you going to do to top this stay in the future?” I don’t think I can. In fact, though I only live five minutes away, my husband has asked, “Do you think we could stay there again sometime soon?”: the best endorsement I could possibly give.

This place is amazing. Steps from the beach. A walk to various restaurants. Endless hours of beach entertainment. The house is pristine clean! The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to have a family homemade meal. There are kids amenities like toys, a high chair, pool noodles. I am so happy with this place!
