Location was wonderful. Check in was easy and the home was thoroughly cleaned and spotless on arrival. Home was spacious and not overly crowded for our 12 guests. The firepit worked well for our beachside s’more’s. Mauri was very responsive when we had questions with great details on both the home and surrounding location/things to do and see.
Parking can be challenging if more than 2 vehicles with street parking only 2 hours and the beach lot no overnight parking.
I would absolutely recommend this stay and would return if our family wanted to stay in the area again.

They had everything availability- there wasn’t anything in the house that we lacked. Every little thing we could possibly need was there! Loved the decor and cleanliness of everything:) this place with so great for the kids and family because it was steps from the soft and beautiful sand!

Strandcastle 2.0 was amazing! We had ages 2-80 in our group and it accommodated us all perfectly. The lay-out was perfect for visiting, the kitchen had everything we needed, and best of all the beach in front! I had a couple questions for Mauri and she responded quickly and was very helpful.
Strandcastle has everything needed for a great beach vacation. Mauri has thought of everything from boogie boards, to sand play. Thank you Mauri!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was thoughtfully taken care of, which made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend and love to stay again!

She communicated clearly and made our check in/check out very simple.
Her home is well appointed, including a fire pit, beach toys and wagon, boogie boards and even child-friendly books for my granddaughter.

Our family had a lovely stay. The kitchen is very well appointed, home is cozy, location is awesome - walking right out onto the dune, fire pit is top notch, garage is spacious, and beds are comfy! We had a blast and would recommend this home for your family vacation.

We stayed at Mauri’s place for Spring Break and it was just lovely! Sunsets from the balcony were our favorite part. You would never know this is a dog-friendly home as we didn’t find one dog hair and it smelled fresh and clean. Would be great for two families to share as the downstairs area has two beds and upstairs has 3. We were thankful for the boogie boards as our 4 yr old son LOVED to play with one int he water.
Very easy walk to the beach! The sand is fine /soft and beautiful! That part of Oceano beach was ATV-central as you can drive on the beach which is cool if you are driving but we found w two littles, it was a but tough to navigate w cars on the beach. We’d prob drive to another beach to hang at next time.
There are so many local spots for coffee and amazing food. Banner Coffee & Ember were our faves. We’d def stay here again.

Our party just loved the beach front home. The home was spacious for our party of 7, the two living room spaces were a bonus. The views from the large windows and roof top were spectacular. We had two small children, and they loved the toys, stuffies, books, games, puzzles and beach toys that were available to them. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, counter-top appliances, serving platters, etc. We brought along an air fryer and rice cooker for our convenience. The bedrooms are comfortable and there were plenty of extra throws, pillows, and blankets if needed. Mauri was very responsive to a few inquiries and happy to address 2 minor issues. We would love to return to this property in the future. We all appreciate your hospitality.

First family trip with young children. The two floors gave enough space to have a quiet place for the kids to nap or take a break for the bustle and hustle upstairs. We had a pup with us and he loved the walks at the near by campground. The outside seating gave us some time to enjoy the cool breeze. The neighborhood is quiet at night felt safe walking late at night. Having a bathroom with an entrance from the garage was a gift, quick access after a day at the beach was perfect.
